I am a wife and a mother of three children. What does that mean? I put my fitness and health on the back burner while taking care of my family and working. That changed a year ago. I was tired all the time and wasn’t happy that I allowed myself to gain 30 pounds over 5 years. With that, I lost self confidence and I wasn’t always a pleasant person to be around because of it. Since then, I began my journey towards better health and fitness. My sister and I had made arrangements for a family vacation. At the end of February of 2010 we decided to tackle P90X so we could look better on the beaches of Costa Rica. I immediately became hooked. Don’t get me wrong, there were some days where I just wanted to lay around on the couch, watch TV, and eat nachos, but having support around me helped keep me motivated. One thing I wished I had done, but was embarrassed to do was take before pictures. I would have liked to see the changes other than what I notice in my clothes. As a supplement I was using the Recovery drink and was that ever worth it. I used it during Plyo and Synergistics to help keep my energy level up and after my other workouts to recover much faster. Around our house we joke and call it crack juice.
After my first round, I wanted more variety and challenges. I purchased P90X Plus and completed my round of Plus. This program has the same Tony Horton and uses some of the same DVDs as P90X, but what I like about Plus is the core work it brings every week. The two workouts that are the most difficult are Intervals and Total Body Plus. It will take awhile before I grow affectionate towards Intervals, but Total Body is one of my favorites.
After two rounds of P90X and one round of Plus, I felt like I was hitting a plateau and really wanted something that would help me during the day. The afternoon can be a struggle for me and using Shakeology for lunch helps keep my energy level consistent. I have just finished my 2nd round of Plus and I cannot believe the results. At the beginning of this journey I was a size 11/12 and now I am in a size 4. My next challenge will be Insanity!
When I began P90X I never had a desire to be a coach. Family and friends were asking about what I was doing to get back into shape. I was a walking example of what Beachbody programs and products can do. I realized I had a passion for helping others be just as successful so I recently became a coach. If you are interested in becoming a coach please contact me.

Gina,
I’m in training with Greg down here in Kennesaw, GA and he gave me your card. You look awesome! I am a former athlete and do a tremendous amount of training myself. I would love to try this product and possible get involved in someway in the future.
Keep up the good work!
Eddie
Hi Gina
You have inspired me! Last night I started Power 90 in home boot camp phase 1. Tonight I did the phase 2. I am interesed in doing your 30 day challenge. I will need a lot of direction!
